Rebekah Aase, a sophomore center on the Riverland Community College women’s basketball team, was recently recognized as MCAC Southern Division player of the week.

Aase scored 19 points and grabbed 25 rebounds and had four assists and two blocks in leading RCC to a win over Division II NIACC.

Aase, who is an Austin grad, currenlty leads the Southern Division in scoring (20.3 points per game) and rebounding (19.3 per game).
