Cleone Myra Johnson, age 80 of Austin, died Friday Oct. 12, 2012, at the Faribault Care Center.

Cleone was born May 10, 1932 in Udolpho Township, Mower County, Minn. to Howard and Ella G. (Williamson) Johnson. Cleone attended country school near Red Oak Grove.

She worked at Cedar Valley Services, and loved embroidering. After living at St. Mark’s Assisted Living for many years, she moved to the Faribault Care Center in July 2012.

Survivors include two sisters: Jurine (Art) Gerber of Austin and Phyllis (Burnell) Turvold of Belvidere, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Ella, her brother Dean Johnson, and 2 sisters Arlene Reed and Elvira Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday Oct. 15, 2012, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home Chapel with Rev. Pam Solberg officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at St. Mark’s.  Interment will be in Red Oak Grove Lutheran Cemetery. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
