The Packers had their season end when they lost to Owatonna 4-0 in the first round of the Section 1AAA softball tournament in Hastings Wednesday.

Austin (5-14 overall) mustered just two hits, while the Huskies had three doubles and six total hits.

“Hits were in short supply tonight and we struggled to get any baserunners on,” Austin head coach Tina Strauss said. “Owatonna hit the ball hard.”

Owatonna took a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
