WINONA — The Hayfield football team couldn’t get any offense going in the second half as it fell to Winona Cotter (1-3 overall) 14-12 on the road Friday.

Cole Kruger ran for a pair of scores in the first half for the Vikings (0-4 overall), but that’s all of the damage Hayfield could do.

“It was a good battle, we’ve just got to put it all together,” Hayfield head coach Andrew Weiers said.
