Leslie Marie Paquette, daughter of Laura and James Paquette and Brandon Arthur Scherer, son of Linda and David Scherer, were united in marriage on July 31, 2010. The ceremony was performed by Deacon Kevin Ray at Mary Mother of the Church in La Crosse, WI at 1:30 p.m. The pianist was Andrea Koester and the soloist was Sarah Carpenter.

Maid of Honor was Alexa Renstrom, friend of the bride; bridesmaids were Sarah Butterfield, Amanda Fattore, Sarah Robinson and Elizabeth Shewmon. The flower girls were Elsa Benson and Olivia White.

Best Man was Colton Scherer, brother of the groom; groomsmen were Michael Chromy, Jared Jacobs, Chris Paquette and Mitchell Paquette. The Ring Bearer was Sam White. The brothers of the bride and groom, Chris Paquette, Mitchell Paquette and Colton Scherer served as the ushers.

A reception and dance were held at All Star Banquets following the wedding.

Leslie gradated in 2007 from Central High School in La Crosse. On May 8th, 2010 she graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from St. Mary’s University in Winona with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul. She is employed by Fraser as a special needs caregiver.

Brandon graduated in 2006 from Pacelli High School in Austin. In May, he graduated from St. Mary’s University in Winona with a double Business Major in Management Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He is currently employed with Wells Fargo as a loan processor.

The couple honeymooned in Door County, WI and has made their home in Roseville.
