Sue C. Sheehan, 82

Sue Carol Sheehan, age 82, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Our House Senior Living and Memory Care Facility in Austin, Minnesota. Sue was born in Watertown, South Dakota, on May 24, 1942, to Fred and Clara (Burns) Anfinson. She grew up and attended Watertown High School. Following high school, Sue worked at various establishments until she met Bob Sheehan and the two were united in marriage on August 8, 1964, in Watertown. After they were married, she started working at home running a daycare for several years. After she retired from daycare she went to work in various retail stores.

Sue had five children, Lisa, Bob, Dave, Brent, and Jeff. Sue lived in Watertown until 2009 when she moved to Rose Creek, Minnesota to be closer to most of her family. She lived there until 2018 when she moved to Adams, Minnesota, and then moved to Austin, Minnesota, in 2019 to Our House Senior Living until her passing. Sue enjoyed going for walks with her friends and dog, Bootsy, and reading. She loved going to her kids and grandchildren’s sporting events, singing in the church choir, and also spending time with her friends, playing cards, and having coffee.

Survivors include her children, Lisa Sheehan of Adams, MN, Bob (Jill) Sheehan of Rochester, MN, Dave Sheehan of Watertown, SD, Brent (Aimee) Sheehan of Austin, MN, and Jeff (Kerri) Sheehan of Hayti, SD. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack Anfinson and Robert Anfinson; and sister, Jean Buckner.
