Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

It’s June and the schools are out. It’s time to play and get some family time.

We do have a busy schedule planned for our seniors with your interests in mind.

On June 12 we are going to the Minnesota Twins game at Target Field versus the Colorado Rockies. Load time is 8:30 a.m. with departure at 9 a.m., always from the southwest side of Walmart. Waiting lists do happen.

June 27: “Fiddler on the Roof” at the Marion Ross Theatre in Albert Lea. Dinner and show are included. We do have a few openings. Fee is due by June 11. We depart at 4 p.m.

July 14: Mystery Trip. This Sunday trip may accommodate weekday workers. We try  to  be available for all to travel. This will include an entire day of events. Due date is June 20. There are a few openings available. Bus loads at 8:30 a.m. and departs at 9 a.m.

July 24 and Aug. 7: “Beautiful: The Carol King Story” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. Both shows include a choice of dinner meal.

These shows have shown so much interest everywhere. It’s a true story of this piano-song writer, who has rocked the country with her coming out show, with songs we have all heard and loved. It includes a cast of 29 to play out her story. We depart at 9 a.m. Waiting list only.

Aug. 14: Minnesota Twins vs Kansas City Royals at Target Stadium. Fees are due by July 18. There are still openings for this game and still time to sign-up.

Aug. 26: Minnesota State Fair. A day on your own to browse and enjoy the many offerings. The food alone is worth the trip. This is one of the top state fairs in the country. We are excited to host a day there. It includes a ticket to enter. Let us do the driving and parking.  This is not on our list every year so don’t miss it.  Fee is due by Aug. 3. Non seniors are invited to join.

Sept 17-20: Ozarks in Branson, Missouri featuring lots of country music and includes a dinner cruise on Branson Belle showboat. There are lots of shows and new dining sites. A schedule available.

Extended travel is also included.

Aug. 16-24: Colorado Rockies tour.

Also upcoming is a trip to Greece, the Tournament of Roses Parade and Hawaii cruising.

A complete list of other trips is available. Email me at eviestravel@charter.net  or call 507-438-3946. You can also call Jan at 612-845-0799. All trips are escorted. We cater to those 50 and over. The travel office is open at the Senior Center on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to noon.
