Bernard Ross, 56

Bernard “Bernie” Harold Ross passed away on June 12, 2024, at his home in Rose Creek, Minnesota at the age of 56.

Bernie was a fun, loving, caring man who would lend a helping hand to anyone anytime. He loved going on side-by-side trips, spending time with his grandchildren, children, family, and friends. Bernie loved his dog, Rosco, he was his best friend and where Bernie went, Rosco was right there with him. He enjoyed going to demolition derbies, mudding, restoring tractors, drinking beer, and having a good time. Bernie worked as a roofer in Wisconsin in his younger years and then proceeded with his career as a mechanic opening his own shop, Rosco’s Repair in Grand Meadow and Rose Creek, Minnesota with his two sons, Austin and Bradley. Bernie will be truly missed by many. Bernie was married to Tamera (Austin) Wendt. They had three children, Brittany, Bradley, and Austin Ross. They were later divorced.

Bernie is survived by his children, Brittany (Chris) Ward of White Pine, Michigan, Bradley (Kimberly) Ross of Rose Creek, Minnesota, and Austin (Bryana) Ross of Elkton, Minnesota. 11 grandchildren, Kylie, Luis, Ashton, Gavyn, Brycen, Anabelle, Sawyer, Olivia, Briella, Skyler, and Everett. His brother Thomas (Lisa) Ross of Elba, Minnesota. His sisters Shirley (Mike) Manthei of Lake City, Minnesota and Theresa Hehl, Mazeppa, Minnesota. His special friend Carol Parrish-Hilger of Dodge Center and multiple aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.

Bernie is proceeded in death by his father, Harold Ross, mother, Jeanette Ross, brother-in-law, Chris Hehl, and several aunts and uncles.

A Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview. The burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Elba.
