Cameron “Cam” W. Haug, 65

Cameron “Cam” Wayne Haug, age 65, of Austin, Minnesota, died on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Grand Meadow Senior Living in Grand Meadow. Cam was born on September 21, 1958, to Donald Curtis and Helen Marie (Pederson) Haug in Rochester, Minnesota. He graduated from Leroy High School. Following High School, he worked in farming, until beginning his 26-year career at QPP as a trolly operator in the trolly room. On July 8, 2000, Cam married Debora “Deb” Edwards at Crane Chapel in Austin, Minnesota. He was a hard worker who always had to be moving or working on a project. He loved spending his free time at the farm, going to auctions, watching the Chiefs play football and going to the races. Cam bought his son his first race car. He was also a big collector of antiques.

Cam is survived by his wife, Deb Haug of Austin, Minnesota; son, Matthew Edwards of Austin; three grandchildren, Matthew Bolinger, Blake Edwards, and Gracie Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Helen Haug; brother, David Haug; sisters, Kimberly Haug and Deann Hjelmeland; father and mother-in-law, Howard Sr. and Grace Edwards; brother-in-law, Doug Edwards; and nephew, Justin Edwards.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Mayer- Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
