Rainy River edges out Riverland men in Region XIII championshiop

The Riverland Community College men’s basketball team lost to Rainy River 75-73 in the Region XIII championship in Anoka Sunday.
Savier McCall put up 11 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists for the Blue Devils (29-3 overall) and Christian Campbell added 14 points, nine rebounds and three assists.
The Blue Devils beat Central Lakes 89-75 in Friday’s semifinals.
