Extreme cold grips the region after weekend storm

Extremely cold temperatures will continue to grip the area following this weekend’s storm.

The National Weather Service has placed the area into a wind chill advisory that will go through noon on Tuesday. According to the NWS, wind chills could reach as low as -35.

Today’s high will sit at just -4 with a low of -11 tonight Temperatures will settle at under 10 degrees with lows dipping below zero at night. Temperatures will then raise to around 21 degrees on Sunday.
