Bruins outlast Bobcats in 15-round shootout

The Austin Bruins and Bismarck Bobcats went 15 shots deep in a shootout and the Bruins finally prevailed when Tristan Zarsky scored to clinch a 4-3 shootout win in Riverside Arena Friday.
Each team exchanged goals early in the shootout and Trent Wiemken denied the Bobcats (18-12-0-2 overall) on 11 straight shootout attempts to set up the winning goal.
Trent Wiemken had 29 saves for Austin (18-12-1-0 overall).
