A Hayfield senior set a new rebounding standard as the Viking girls beat United South Central 79-27 in Hayfield Friday.

Hayfield senior Natalie Beaver broke the school record with her 813th career rebound in the win. The record was previously held by Shanna Behrens, who set the career mark of 812 rebounds in 1991.

Beaver had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Lily Beyer had 20 points and 11 rebounds in the win for the Vikings (16-2 overall).
