A trio of Austin grads continue to make progress at the college hockey level.

Austin grad Kate Holtz was named WIAC Athlete of the week for her performance on the ice with Northland College recently.

Holtz, a sophomore, produced three points in three games last week as she had two goals and an assist. She now has eight points on the season for the Lumberjills (5-10-1 overall).

Austin grad Sarah Wangen scored her first college goal for St. Catherine University in a 4-2 win over Salve Regina University in Middleton, Rhode Island recently.

Wangen has a goal and an assist on the season for St. Catherine’s (4-5 overall).

Austin grad Lily Holtz has surpassed 100 career games played at St. Scholastica.

Holtz, who is a fifth year senior defenseman, has one assist this season. Holtz has 20 career points for the Saints.
