The LeRoy-Ostrander boys basketball team fell into a big hole in the first half as it lost to Goodhue (5-3 overall) 81-46 in Grand Meadow Thursday.
The Cardinals (3-5 overall) pulled to within 15-10 when Carter Sweeney hit a three-pointer, but the Wildcats closed the first half on a 26-8 burst.
The Cardinals clawed as close as 46-31 after another three by Sweeney in the second half, but that was as close as they would get.
Camden Hungerholt put up 22 points and five rebounds for LO.
