The Austin boys hockey team beat Fairmont (6-17 overall) 3-2 in Riverside Arena Tuesday.
Gahvin Schaeffer scored the game-winner for the Packers (4-17-1 overall) in the third period. Sam Eyre and Grady Carney had first period goals for Austin.
Ethan Knox had 44 saves for Austin.
