Fire Department open house to be held Wednesday

The Austin Fire Department will be holding its Fire Department Open House from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday night.
Visitors will be able to explore the station and vehicles, dress like a firefighter, witness an auto extrication demo, spray a fire hose and take part in adult fire extinguisher operation.
Kids will also get the chance to meet Sparky, the fire dog.
