LeRoy man injured in Wednesday evening accident

A LeRoy man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a Wednesday evening accident in Olmsted County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol accident report, a 2001 Honda Civic was southbound on County Road 104 at about 5:07 p.m. in Cascade Township, Olmsted County. At the same time, a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was heading west on Highway 14 and the vehicles collided at the intersection of County Road 104 and Highway 14.

The Rochester Fire Department, Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance responded to the scene.

The Honda’s driver, Joshua Jacob Weiss, 20, of LeRoy was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus-Rochester with non-life threatening injuries.

The Jeep’s driver, Vanessa Isabel Navarro, 22, of Kasson was uninjured.
