Jordan Castro of Austin put up a big disc golfing performance when he placed eighth in the DGPT Preserve Championship in Clearwater, Minnesota this past weekend.

Castro finished the three-day tournament with a score of 35 under par.

With his finish, Castro has qualified for the United States Disc Golf Championship in October.

Nikko Locastro won the meet with a score of 41 under par.

It was the fourth tournament of the season for Castro, who took 19th in the Memorial Championship in Scottsdale, Arizona in March and he placed 33rd in the Las Vegas Challenge in February.
