The Hayfield Fire Department cancelled its annual HFD Golf Outing and Chicken Fry due to concerns over COVID-19.

“After much consideration about the safety of our community and our fire department, we have decided to cancel the Fire Department Golf Outing as well as the Chicken Fry,” Hayfield Fire Chief Paul O’Brien announced on the HFD Facebook page. “We appreciate our community’s support in this difficult decision.”

This year’s event was scheduled for July 11.
