Photos: Drive-thru Easter
The Lyle Lions Club this past Saturday made sure they were able to continue an Easter tradition, even while allowing for social distancing. The Lions arranged for a drive-thru set up where families, with their children, could drive up, receive a bag of goodies and even say “hi” to the Easter Bunny, all in the parking lot of Lyle Public School.
They also organized an Easter egg hunt where kids could track down eggs hung in the window of homes in Lyle. “We were happy to be able to bring a little joy to families during Easter,” said Lions President Alex Block. “Even though it was not our traditional Easter Egg Hunt, kids had fun looking for decorated houses and waving to the Easter Bunny.”
