Julie A. Corkill, 61, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus-Rochester.

Julie was born May 4, 1958, in Austin to Rolland and Mary (Diekema) Finholdt. She married Terry M. Corkill on Aug. 31, 1990. She was a dedicated dispatcher at the Mower County Law Enforcement Center for over 20 years and made many great friends. She loved baking and enjoyed

watching the Twins baseball games. She also had a love for her dachshunds, Izzy, Rubee and Hunee. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, especially around the holidays. Her deep love and caring nature was known by all who were fortunate enough to meet her. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Corkill of Austin; daughter, Mallory Corkill of Austin; stepdaughter, Melissa Corkill; grandson, Dallas Shoden of Minneapolis, Minnesota; brother, Clifford Finholdt of Austin; sisters, Grace (Patti) Finholdt of Florida, Susan (Kenny) Dunn of Illinois and Rosemary Finholdt of Ohio; sister-in-law, Joyce Finholdt of Austin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolland and Mary Finholdt; brothers, Ronnie Finholdt, Robert Finholdt and James (Peggy) Finholdt; and sister, Joyce (Finholdt) Prehn.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date at Crane Community Chapel in Austin. The family requests that floral memorials be sent at the time of service only.
