Gach named Pac-12 Player of the Week

Austin native Both Gach was named Pac-12 Player of the Week after his breakthrough performance for Utah in a 74-72 win over Colorado.
Gach, a sophomore at Utah, had a career high 28 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals against the Buffaloes. He was nine-for-15 from the field in the win.

Gach scored five of Utah’s 10 points in overtime.
Utah will play Oregon State in its Pac-12 Tournament opener at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
