David E. Quam, 71, of Owatonna, Minnesota, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Homestead Hospice House.

He is survived by his wife, Julie of Owatonna; children, Sarah Quam of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Becky (Craig) Johnson of Owatonna, Kathy Quam of Owatonna and Lisa Madson (fiancé, Ted Millhouse) of Owatonna; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Larry Quam of Austin, Minnesota, and Steve Quam of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota; and special canine friend, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dwayne; and sisters-in-law, Judy and JoAnn Quam.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Elevation North Church in Owatonna with Pastor Doug Jones officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
