Raymond Eugene Hansen, 90

Raymond was born April 12, 1929, in Nevada Township, Mower County, on the family farm near Rose Creek, Minnesota, to Roy Clarence and Mae (Lausen) Hansen. He attended country school and graduated from the eighth grade. Raymond met the love of his life, Beverly Jean Lee, on a blind date at the Oasis. They were married on Oct. 1, 1961. Raymond devoted his life to farming, raising cattle and field crops. He was a “good neighbor” and ready to help others when needed. He enjoyed going to sales and was a bargain hunter. Raymond liked spending time with his cats and dogs. He was an avid gardener, both flowers and vegetables. He had a natural ability to fix just about anything and used his creativity to build miniature wagons.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Beverly; nieces and nephews; and many neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Herb.
