The Hayfield boys basketball team took down Schaeffer Academy (19-5 overall) 63-49 in Rochester Tuesday.

Hayfield (20-5 overall) shot over 70 percent from the field in the first half and Ethan Slaathaug had 20 of his 27 points in the first frame.
