Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: My favorite memory was when we beat Red Wing in the semifinals of our section to go into the finals last year.

Q: What have you learned from sports?

A: I have learned dedication, teamwork, and responsibility from my athletics. This all comes from being on the different teams you can see what’s most important. Also, I learned it takes a lot more than just showing up to practice to get what you want out of it.

Q: What is the hardest part about sports?

A: The hardest part for me is it cuts into family time sometimes. Over Christmas and Thanksgiving we normally have to make a trip to see family and we are back in the same day. Although this is hard, I know they support me and love watching me play.

Q: How do you keep your focus when competing?

A: I keep my focus by forgetting everything that’s going on outside of that sport. When I step onto the court or field, it’s about how can I be successful for myself and my team around me. Nothing around me matters anymore.

Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?

A: My dad is my biggest sports role model because before and after every game he doesn’t tell me I have to be the best, he tells me to go out and do my best. He has always been very athletic, and is very smart on the court and field. He is my biggest supporter.

Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?

A: I watch all sorts of movies, and love a lot. My favorite series is the Marvel series though!

Q: If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be?

A: Robin Williams. He was a character and had a fun personality.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: My dream job is to be a nurse. I love talking and working with people, and I feel like I could really make a difference in someone’s life

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: I love Chinese food!

Q: What is your favorite song?

A: I don’t have a favorite song, but Khalid and Post Malone are some of my top artists.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: To attend Winona State University and graduate with my bachelor degree in nursing.

Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be?

A: To be able to understand animals because I just love my pets, but would be fun to hear what they say back.
