Aaron Knoll is a senior swimmer for the Austin Packers.

Q: What sports do you compete in?

A: I compete in cross country, swimming, and volleyball.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: Making it to state in swimming for the first time in ninth grade.

Q: What have you learned from sports?

A: Sports have taught me to endure. Whether it be enduring mental blocks or physical strain.

Q: What is the hardest part about sports?

A: The hardest part of sports is balance. Balance in knowing how to work hard without overexertion, and balance in managing your academics with your sports.

Q: How do you keep your focus when competing?

A: Clearing my mind allows me to gather my surroundings and relax, which allows me to keep focus when I compete.

Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?

A: My biggest sports role model is Adam Thielen. He’s a person I look up to because of his hard work ethic shown from his unusual journey to the NFL.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: “Interstellar.”

Q: If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be?

A: Steve Jobs.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: Computer Engineer for Tesla.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Steak.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: To attend University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and major in computer engineering.

Q: If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

A: Flying.
