The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team lost to Goodhue (15-3 overall) 40-34 in Target Center in Minneapolis Saturday.

BP (14-2 overall) trailed by 12 in the second half, but they were able to get within four with a minute remaining.

“It’s not often where we face a team who has the height advantage at every position but that’s what we faced in Goodhue,” BP head coach Nate Piller said. “They’re strong, rebound well, stay patient on offense and limit any transition offense. Both teams looked to get easy baskets off of sudden transition, but there was nothing easy about this day for either team.”
