The YMCA at the Austin Community Recreation Center is just a little bit closer to opening as it plans to host some events this week leading up to opening day on Monday.

A special unveiling will be held for a donor’s event at 6 p.m. tonight. Doors open at  5 p.m. with a social hour followed by the unveiling. Tours will follow between 6:15-7 p.m.

A members only event will follow from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, followed by a Beat-the-Rush Membership sign-up from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The doors officially open to the public at 5 a.m. Monday.
