Pamela Ann Hillemeier, 63

Pamela Ann (Hassinger) Hillemeier, 63, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Pamela was born April 25, 1956, in Willmar, Minnesota, to Martin and Patricia (Yost) Hassinger. She graduated from Danube High School in 1974.

On Sept. 7, 1979, Pamela married Douglas Hillemeier. They had three children: Nicole, Natasha and Brandon. The family moved to Austin in 1985. Pam was a stay-at-home mom for many years. As the children were getting older, Pam started “Mrs. Clean” cleaning business. She later obtained a CDL driver’s license and drove belly dump trucks for many years. She loved driving trucks. For the past few years, Pam worked for REM as a care provider. Pam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole; parents, Martin and Patricia Hassinger; and her favorite canine companion for 15 years, KeLee. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Hillemeier of St. Cloud, Minnesota; daughter, Natasha (Ryan LaMont) Hillemeier of Austin; son, Brandon (Kimberly Tycz) Hillemeier of Colorado Springs, Colorado; granddaughter, Harper Tracy of Austin; siblings, Linda (Bruce) Hoegger, Marty (Ronda) Hassinger, Trudy (Keith Lueck) Hassinger and twin brother, Perry Hassinger; and many loving relatives and friends.

A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at Mayer Funeral Home. Friends may call for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society/Lung Cancer Research. Condolences may be left online at www.mayerfh.com.
