Austin’s locally owned pharmacy, Medicap Pharmacy, did it again, donating over $1,600 to Warrior Wagon Inc., a non-profit organization, for people receiving flu vaccinations this past season.

Warrior Wagon buys red wagons and puts comforting household items in the wagons for patients who have long stays at the hospital, such as cancer patients and young children.

The donation from Medicap will help six more families feel some comfort while being away from home. Warrior Wagon donates these wagons ($250 value) to families in Rochester at Mayo Clinic, Children’s Hospital in the Twin Cities and even hospital(s) in Chicago.

In the past, Medicap Pharmacy has donated to Paint the Town Pink, ARC, the Mower County Senior Center and schools in surrounding areas to help educate for Opioid Awareness.

Medicap would like to thank all the patients that they serve for making this possible and for their help and support. They look forward to making more donations to other organizations in the future for such good causes.
