Hayfield boys can’t keep up with Springfield in Mayo Civic Center

The Hayfield boys basketball team had a three-game winning streak snapped when it lost to Springfield (8-1 overall) 82-74 in Mayo Civic Center in Rochester Saturday.
Ethan Slaathaug had 25 points, four rebounds and five assists for the Vikings (7-2 overall).
Decker Scheffler paced Springfield with 32 points, 15 rebounds and six assists.
