Austin Community Recreation Center releases opening date, membership rates

The Austin Community Recreation Center (ACRC) and YMCA of Austin have announced the opening date and membership rates for the new facility.
“We are thrilled to share with the community the membership rates for the YMCA at the Austin Community Recreation Center,” said Diane Baker YMCA Executive Director Diane Baker. “After very thoughtful consideration, we have designed a rate structure that feels accessible and is a great value. We are excited to serve our loyal members in this beautiful new space and look forward to welcoming new members to our Y community.”
The facility will open its doors at 5 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3. Hours will be as follows, with designated areas in the building having special operating hours.
- 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday – Friday
- 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday
- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday
A number of membership options are available to address the needs in the community and there will be the option to purchase day passes.
Financial assistance and scholarships will be available to those who qualify. More information about this program can be found by contacting our membership team or by attending the Beat the Rush event detailed below.
Those interested in joining the new facility are invited to a Beat-the-Rush membership event at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1.

ACRC is a year-round recreation center of architectural significance, which is a welcoming place for everyone in our community to meet, exercise, and play. The recreation campus has state-of-the-art fitness facilities including a family aquatic center, practice facilities and programs supporting health living in a safe, affordable environment.

- Young adult: $32.50/month 18-23 years old
- Adult: $50.50-$61.25/month
- Family: $66.25-$82.25/month
- Senior Single: $47.50-$58/month
- Senior Couple: $62.75-$76.75/month
New facility rates
- Youth: $10/month 14-18 years old
- Young adult: $35/month 19-25
- Adult: $55/month
- Family: $68/month
- Senior Single: $35/month 65 and older
- Senior Couple: $50/month
