Austin Bruins forward Connor Mylymok, 19, had a productive weekend as he was named NAHL Central Division Star of the Week.
Mylymok helped his team pick up three of a possible four points in a home series against the Minot Minotauros.
The native of Wilcox, Saskatchewan totaled five points (three goals and two assists) and a +2 rating in the weekend series.
On Friday, Mylymok had two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in a 7-5 win. On Saturday, he had a goal and assist in a 3-2 shootout loss.
In 12 games this season, Mylymok has 12 points.
“Connor has been playing really well the last few weeks and he has scored some big goals for us. He’s one of the hardest working players that I’ve coached and it’s starting to pay off for him. We are looking for him to continue his production in the second half,” said Bruins head coach Steve Howard.
