Hayfield grad and RCTC sophomore Carrie Rutledge was named as a First Team NJCAA Division III All-American volleyball player on Wednesday.

Rutledge led the nation with 4.97 kills per set and she was second in the nation with 572 total kills. She finished second in the nation with 625 total points.

Rutledge and the Yellowjackets went 31-4 overall this season, taking fourth place in the NJCAA National Championships.
