Pierre Lilly is a senior guard on the Austin boys basketball team.

Q: What sports do you compete in?

A: I compete in basketball.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: My favorite sports memory would probably be our run at state during the 2018-2019 season.

Q: What have you learned from sports?

A: I have learned to work as a team, be a leader, and to persevere when things are going bad.

Q: What is the hardest part about sports?

A: The hardest part of sports for me would be losing because I am a very competitive person and I don’t take it lightly.

Q: How do you keep your focus when competing?

A: I keep my focus by getting into what i like to call my zone where it is just me, my teammates, and the opponents.

Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?

A: My biggest sports role model would be Kobe Bryant. He is my role model not because of how good he was, but how good his work ethic was and how he showed hard work beats talent.

Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?

A: “ Into The Spider-Verse.”

Q: If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be?

A: Michael Jackson.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: My dream job would be to make money off of basketball whether that be overseas, a coach, or a trainer.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Cheeseburgers.

Q: What is your favorite song?

A: “A Boy Is A Gun” by Tyler, The Creator.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: I plan to attend a 4-year university.

Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be?

A: Super speed.
