The Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team bounced back in the second half to beat Schaeffer Academy 57-49 in Lyle Monday.

Olivia Christianson had 29 points for the Athletics (1-0 overall, 1-0 SEC), who trailed by nine points at halftime.

“The first game is always tough and we are a young team, but I liked how our girls defended and followed our adjustments in the second half,” LP head coach Anna Meyer said.
