Y’s Women of the Hormel Historic Home met Oct. 10. We enjoyed a mystery outing at the country home of Kiven Lukes. He spoke of his hobby of collecting player pianos, the history, the age and where they came from. We saw beautiful grand pianos and many smaller ones and enjoyed the music of them. All of these are housed in a beautiful museum like building.
Marlene Paulson was welcomed as a new member. A short meeting followed.
Diane Low and Anita Ulwelling served dessert.
The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the Hormel Historic Home. Nancy Schnable, executive director of Discover Austin will be the program speaker.
