The No. 7 seeded Lyle-Pacelli football team lost 72-30 to No. 2 Hills-Beaver Creek (8-1 overall) in a Section 3 nine-man quarterfinal on the road Tuesday.

LP (1-8 overall) took an 8-0 lead into the second quarter after Jed Nelson ran for a two-yard score, but H-BC put up 45 points in the second quarter to put the game away.

Cole Walter threw for 258 yards with a touchdown and interception and he ran for 85 yards and two TDs for LP.
