The Austin boys soccer team had its seven-game winning streak come to a close, but it put itself in position to win its third straight Big Nine title after it tied with Northfield 1-1 in Northfield Tuesday.

The Raiders (9-1-2 overall, 7-1-2 Big Nine) tied the contest on a penalty kick with 30:38 left in the second half after Austin had taken a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick by Julio Hernandez in the first half.

The Packers (10-1-2 overall, 8-0-2 Big Nine) will host Rochester Century at 7 p.m. Friday. If Austin can win or tie against the Panthers, it will secure an outright Big Nine title.
