Pablo Alfonso Nunez, 26, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at his home.

Pablo was born Dec. 11, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, to Marisol Balbuena and Emerio Nunez. At a young age, Pablo’s family moved to Hayfield, Minnesota. He attended grade school and junior high in Hayfield, where he developed his passion for wrestling. The family moved back to Los Angeles, then later Great Bend, Kansas, before returning to Austin in 2016. Pablo always had a joke to make people smile. He loved music and writing poetry. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Marisol Balbuena, and father, Emerio Nunez of Austin; brothers, Jesus Rodriguez of Claremont, Minnesota, Ariel Macias Balbuena of Mexico and Jose Nunez of Austin; sister, Hazel Nunez of Austin; and aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Rev. Shari Mason officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
