The No. 8 seeded LeRoy-Ostrander volleyball team lost to No. 1 Kenyon-Wanamingo (19-9 overall) by scores of 25-9, 25–12, 25-8 in a Section 1A West quarterfinal in Kenyon Thursday.

Libertee Smalley had five kills for the Cardinals (8-16 overall).

“I was really proud of these girls. We battled hard and we were a very a young team this year,” LO head coach Lindsay Haney said. “Kenyon is a really good team and they’re ranked No. 7 in the state for a reason. It will be exciting to see what we do in the future.”
