The No. 5 seeded Hayfield volleyball team beat No. 12 Glenville-Emmons (3-19 overall) by scores of 25-8, 25-8, 25-14 in a Section 1A West Tournament opener in Hayfield Monday.

The Vikings (14-13 overall) will play at No. 4 Goodhue at  7 p.m. Tuesday.
