Dylan Nirk is a senior football player for Blooming Prairie. Nirk has also wrestled at the state meet for the Westfield Razorbacks.

Q: What sports do you compete in?

A. Football, baseball, and wrestling.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A. Either making it to US Bank Stadium or The Xcel for state wrestling.

Q: What have you learned from sports?

A: Dig deep when things get tough. You have many opportunities

Q: What is the hardest part about sports?

A: Staying conditioned.

Q: How do you keep your focus when competing?

A: I dial in and I keep thinking to myself to get one more on each rep or play.

Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?

A: My brother who’s a US Marine. He told me that when life gets down, keep your head up because there are many opportunities.

Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?

A: “42 the legacy of Jackie Robinson.”

Q: If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be?

A: Babe Ruth.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: Plumbing or law enforcement

A: Tacos.

Q: What is your favorite song?

A: “Beautiful Crazy” by Lukas Combs.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: Go to college for plumbing or law enforcement. Possibly play a sport.

Q: If you could have one super power, what would it be?

A: Speed.
