Bruins open up home schedule with win over Wings

The Austin Bruins opened their home ice schedule in style as they beat the defending Robertson Cup champions Aberdeen Wings (2-3-2 overall) 5-4 in a shootout in Riverside Arena Friday night.
Ben Almquist netted the game winner in the shootout for Austin after Austin goalie Tyler Shea, who had 18 saves in regulation, stopped all three of Aberdeen’s attempts.
