Alumni update: Sederquest reaches milestone at Waldorf

Austin grad Kelsey Sederquest recently surpassed the 1,000 mark for career digs at Waldorf University. Sederquest also had 1,000 digs in her volleyball career with the Packers.

Sederquest had 19 digs in a four-game win for Waldorf over Dickinson State and Hayfield grad Savanna Cordle had 13 kills and eight blocks in that win.

Hayfield grad Maggie Streightiff had five kills and three digs for Upper Iowa (15-6 overall) in a three-game win over University of Mary recently.

Streightiff has 169 kills and 49 digs on the season for the Peacocks.

Hayfield grad Carrie Rutledge had 13 kills and 11 digs for Rochester Technical and Community College in a three-game win over St. Cloud Tech on Oct. 26.

Rutledge ranks first in NJCAA Division III in kills per set (4.94) and second in total kills (474).


Soccer

Austin grad Lonyjera Okal has one assist this season for Iowa Lakes Community College.

Austin grad Mooday Wah is also on the roster for Iowa Lakes (13-3-1 overall).


Cross Country

Austin grad and University of North Dakota runner Madison Overby finished in fifth place at the Roy Pynn Invite recently.

Overby finished the 5K race with a time of 17:50.5.

Pacelli grad Kayla Christopherson took 20th place for South Dakota State University with a time of 18:45.1 at the Roy Pynn Invite.


Football

Grand Meadow grad Landon Jacobson had three carries for 16 yards and two carries for 26 yards for Winona State (6-2 overall) in a 38-17 win over St. Cloud State University Saturday.

Hayfield grad Lane Canny had three catches for 61 yards for Upper Iowa (2-6 overall) in a 23-13 win over Minnesota Duluth Saturday.

Austin grad Corey Waller ranked fourth in tackles this season for RCTC (6-3 overall). Walter had 43 total tackles, .5 sacks and 3.5 tackles for a loss for the Yellowjackets.
