The Austin Bruins split a weekend series with the Minot Minotauros when they won a shootout 4-3 Friday and lost 5-4 Saturday. Both games were in Minot, N.D.

Josef Mysak scored the game-tying goal in the third period of the shootout win for Austin (6-6-1-2 overall). Mysak and Ben Almquist scored in the shootout and Brett Miller stopped both shots he saw to get the win in net.

Braeden Bartoo scored the game winner for Minot (8-1-1-2 overall) with just over five minutes remaining in Saturday’s game.
