Congratulations are in order for two Austin High School alumni who were chosen as scholarship recipients from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

For the 2019-20 academic year, UW-Eau Claire awarded 504 incoming freshmen scholarships, with each award varying in amount and criteria.

Thomas Kroymann and Madison Lang, both former AHS students, were awarded the Chancellor’s Scholarship totaling $1,000 each. The scholarship recognizes students who challenged themselves to achieve excellence, according to the university website.
