The Austin girls soccer team beat Rochester John Marshall (1-6-1 overall, 1-3-1 Big Nine) 2-0 in Rochester Tuesday.

Robin Weaver stopped 11 shots in net to score the shutout for the Packers (3-5 overall, 2-3 Big Nine).

Morgan Raymond gave Austin a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick in the first half and Eliana Bentley put the game away when she scored with 1:12 left.

“The girls played extremely well. They fought for every inch of the game,” Austin head coach Jake Levisen said. “They’ve really been improving and the fire was there tonight. This is only the beginning of what we’re capable of.”
